After spending yet another entire day lost on the numerous county roads of Galveston County while trying to make sense of carefully printed Yahoo maps only to find out said maps were pretty much useless....I finally broke down and got a TomTom.
It's pretty cool, and it speaks English.
I mean like an English accent.

I think this will pay for its self rather quickly just in the ink and paper I will save by NOT printing out useless Yahoo maps!

Work Related: Just Busy
I am working with an out of state client this week so no time for blogging.
We are looking all over town, some areas I know well and some I don't.
Yesterday I got us lost twice AND turned down a one way street the wrong way with this client in the car.
It's going to be a very long week.

On the Island: FP Clinton
Bill Clinton helped kick off early voting this morning in Galveston. He will be making a couple of other stops in coastal cities before joining daughter Chelsea later this evening at the University of Houston. Senator Obama was also in Houston yesterday. I kind of wish our primary had been earlier, but it is fun to watch the process.

I also could use a kind thought for a house that has gotten no showings, an offer that appears to be lost on another planet, and my fax machine that appears to think that 4 pages is enough to send at one time before eating the rest of the contract up like a freakin' shredder.

So John is on vacation this week, and I'm not.
It's strange having him home when I am working.
Hopefully he will be doing a lot of fishing because it is only Monday and I am already tired of hearing The History Channel on in the background!
