After Ike: Hurricane Ida

Even though Ida poses no real threat to the Texas coast, just seeing the "I" storm form so late in the season is a little unnerving.

Hmmmm... well... all "I's" are not created equal! We'll just pray this one hustles herself right on out of the area - without any pitstops!

*sending Ida toward Florida* I hope it is over for us for this year. Relax kiddo.

If you decide to let this blog go, please stay in touch and for goodness sake...keep the kitty one. *hugs* Sometimes we just need to take a break...just don't stay away so long we lose touch with you.

I agree. From now on, any storm that starts with "I" will send chills up our collective spines, I'm sure.

Thankfully, that one left us alone, but yesterday and last night and today -- whew! And from what I've seen on ye ol' rainfall maps on TV, you guys have REALLY gotten a bunch.

You're not floating, are you?
