Our Porch kitty Angel has finally presented her litter of four adorable babycats.

I have no idea where they have been hidden for the last 6 weeks,
but they look healthy and are really putting away the kitten chow!

Did you know May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month?

Chan and I went to a skin cancer free screening on Saturday to have ourselves looked over.

Although we both have a lot of moles and some of these moles are not very attractive, none of them appeared to be of any real threat.

Now, that's a good feeling.

After meeting with former apprenti our final four candidates are informed this is the final task.
They will be paired up and allowed to bring in a couple of helpers.
The task was to shoot yet another commercial and both came up with (my opinion) not so great ideas.
The executives could not choose a winner so there was....

No Boardroom drama
NO one fired
NO final two
NO big final charity event task

In fact Trump cheerfully sung the praises to each of the four and invited all back for the big live finale next week.

The Apprentice LA: Kinetic Rolls Up Short

This week the teams are out at Universal Studios Hollywood in yet another sales task.
*yawn*
Arrow sets up yet another booth with yet another banner, while Kinetic now with Nicole on board decide to be creative with a roller derby like strategy.

During most of the task the teams are competing for customers, even looking foolish in the fight for sales.

Now I have been to Universal and I seem to remember the parking is rather far away and there is a very long walkway to the actual venue.
I am curious why those girls did not work farther out, capturing sales before the folks even got to the ticketing area and Arrow's little booth.

Ultimately even wearing cute little skirts Team Kinetic could not compete and having lost by over 23%, were sent to the boardroom.
After a failed attempt to throw her newest team member under the bus...PM Angela is fired.

So I spend 10 bucks on a multi-draw lotto ticket and stick it in my pocket.
Now I have pulled clothes from the dryer an there are pieces of it all over the place.
Even if I buy another with the same numbers, and win... I will have to split with my now destroyed ticket.
Dammitt!

The kids went to San Antonio for St Pats Day.
They said the crowds were horrible and the parade sucked.

More than 20 years in Shoe boxes

I am determined at some point to go through our family photos, which I have been sticking in shoe boxes for around 25 years. Suggestions welcome on how to tackle this project.
This isn't even close to all of them, I have drawers full as well!

Work Related: Bad News for Those with Bad Credit

All those 100% LTV loans first time homebuyers and credit challenged folks have been enjoying the last couple of years are suddenly going away due to the high instance of foreclosures.

When I was in pre-liscensing classes a year and a half ago, one of my instructors discussed at length how she was predicting this. She said lenders were being to generous with these loans and many people would not be able to make those high interest payments.

Since pretty much my entire client base are young buyers and credit challenged, this really sucks.

Work Related: Negative People

I usually have a very positive attitude but lately have been feeling drug down by some negativity surrounding my work right now. I am losing sleep and wish I could find away to shrug off the things that worry me at 2am in the morning.
Some people see the glass half empty, I understand that.
I just don't deal with it very well sometimes.
Just thought I'd share.

This weeks task was a little more fun.

The candidates planned and executed a promotion for the new Lexus LS 460.

Kinetic is stuck for ideas and the ones they go with are bad ones, really bad.

Arrow gets right to work and plan a very impressive event even though they are annoyed that Surya has gotten all the credit for the prior wins.

In the board room:
Jenn, the losing PM, spent a lot of time blaming others and complaining that the task was complicated.
How complicated does she think the final task will be?

Dereck wasted no time being a smart ass and was sent home not laughing. By the way,
Dereks blog has not been updated since his firing, bummer

In the end, Jenn is sent home and Angela is sent off with a stern warning

Home Improvement Repairs

Apparently the shower has been leaking into the wall for
sometime and now that the leak is fixed, it is time to
fix the damage to the wall

Of course The Boyz are doing their best to assist and things
were slowed down for a bit while John tried to Rico back out from
UNDER the shower.
On top of that the litter boxes are in there and each boy
has had a turn much to John's disgust.

Yes, some very bad language has been used this morning.
