Topsy Turvy Sucks

OK, so we carefully read and followed the instructions
inside the box and both plants have died already.

So we will try again, using only one plant this time

This was my pretty trumpet plant, it did
not recover from Ike.

We are going to use that little space to kill grow
some yummy cucumbers.

The full page of instructions inside the box
were a little more complicated
than the 3 steps listed outside the box,
but we have it up just the same.

Now I am just waiting for the big juicy tomatoes to start
popping out all over the place
just like they do on the
Topsy Turvy infomercial.

We could get "up to 30 pounds"

After Ike: Kemah Boardwalk

The Kemah Boardwalk is really coming along.

The train is up and running, but we noticed
they have changed the path up a little.

The hotel still looks a little beat up, and the play ground
is completely gone...... but the
fountain is all good.

It is looking really good at the Boardwalk.

Even though they are charging 6 bucks to park now.

The Mustang has been moved to intensive care so I
am driving this Ford Edge
until she is released from the car hospital.

Actually, it's been kind of fun to drive
and I have not misplaced this car
in a parking lot even once!
