I am making panels for the living room windows. They are coming along nicely except for when I went to put the first one up I see I have sewn shut where you stick the rod in on every single panel...duh.
Last night I had a very vivid dream that I ran in to an old friend from High School. We were so happy to see each other and sat down to chat. It didn't even seem strange that Barbara has been dead since 1995. Dreams are funny that way.
I was online shopping this morning and saw this site advertising Louis Vuitton bags starting at $9.99 and 97% off retail. Well, doesn't that just sound too good to be true. Of course, these are not Louis Vuitton they are knockoffs and not very good ones. The site has a lot of "compare too" and "retail value" verbiage to make it look like you are getting a bargain. Whatever.
Yesterday was trash day, but the garbage collectors had the day off and most of our neighbors have left all of their post holiday boxes and bags on the curb to not be picked up until Thursday, so tacky! The sad thing is that our neighborhood offers recycle bins for both paper and aluminum. Because of this, our household is only filling the local landfill with a bag or two a week. I hate it that more folks do not take advantage of these bins. Besides, do you really want the whole world to know that Santa brought you a shiny new big screen tv or a computer?
So we wanted one of these. We've Seen Chuck Norris's infomercial and thought that it would work nicely downstairs as a coat rack. A quick search on Google turned up oodles of them for around 350.00. If you buy one from the official site however, they will be happy to accept a small trial fee followed by convienent billing of 16 payments of only 99.00. OUCH!
You kiddos can track Santa's progress Christmas Eve on the NORAD Site, but make sure you jump into bed before he gets to your house. There are some games to play on this site too while you are waiting for the big day.
