My Topsy Turvy tomato is still growing...UP
The cukes are looking good.
I asked John to thin them from three down to
two plants but....
He felt bad for plant 3 and gave him it's own
little pot. A second chance he said.
Talk about soft hearted!

I just had to laugh...my tomato is growing....UP!!! Even the photo is hilarious. Nature will take it's own course, I guess. Wonder if the tomatoes will actually grow big.

ROFL! Like I said... by God's design! I LOVE that John gave that other cuke plant a 2nd chance! I'm SO like that! If it's growing and doing WELL, why in the world do we wanna kill it??? Never mind the billions of UNwanted cucumbers we have to dispose of later.... :)
I am on my first attempt at the tomatoe upside down. I did not think it would live after all i did to it to get it in the bag.
Anyone that bought a topsy turvy is an idiot! ROFLMAO!!!!! In many cases the plant will grow upward anyway and crack when the weight of the tomato (the little you will get) will crack your stalk! Also the upside down thing only compacts the leaves together and upsidedown and will not produce 1/6th of the amount you would get if you just planted them in a planter with the same dirt. Why dont you try growing upside down smarty pants! The only good thing about the topsy is the greenhouse effect on the roots from the tarp surround.(As long as you keep it watered) Try turning your topsy right side up!!!! HUGE DFFERENCE and you will get 6 times the amount!!!!!!
