I have used the same photo you used yesterday and found the very one AFTER the hurricane and posted it today...along with a link on some very MOVING and humbling photos of the aftermath on my blog today.
Sometimes it feels like only yesterday, and then other days it feels like eons ago.
Wow -- what a picture. I am so glad that you and your family (furry and not) all came through OK in the end. Even your windswept/flooded house is looking better than before. It's amazing to me that people can pick themselves up and recover so quickly after a disaster. (Though I know lots of folks are still struggling...)

Ohhhhhh how frustrating. I just can't even imagine... I really can't.

I remember how worried I was about you and yours. That was when I dled instant messenger and I think we have used it maybe 5 or 6 times in a year.
Ya'll have rebuilt, for the most part. I don't remember how the cantina was going recently, but thought there might have been an issue with it.
Sending hugs to both of you and long distance hugs to your band of chats sauvages. (wild cats) I was watching a movie, k. :)
It was very scary watching it hit your area on the news. I held my breath!
